This intermediate flute features a silver Voce headjoint, weighted crown, silver-plated body, open-hole keys, pointed key arms, and B footjoint. The Trevor James Chanson flute (formerly the Cantabile) featuring a silver Voce headjoint is crafted with the advancing player in mind. This flute is responsive with a full-bodied, resonant sound. The professional French style pointed key arms add stability, and the open-hole keys improve resonance and promote proper hand position. Italian for voice, the Voce headjoint is designed to elevate the flutist’s musicality. After more than a year working with headjoint makers and consulting professional flutists, Trevor James produced the Voce headjoint. It is finished by hand to provide the flutist with a warm tone, flexibility, and an even response. The addition of a solid weighted crown gives the player more clarity, control, increased projection, and a darker sound.
